Have I written about this one yet? I don’t care if I have, this record is so great.
This one came because of our adherence to 7” records. I could only find this single in the US on 12”. So, after waiting a couple of months, I had to buy one in Scotland. After waiting two more weeks for it to come, I find it cracked in half due to bad packing. I eventually got this copy with two other Killing Joke singles.
Everyone knows Kurt Cobain took this riff for one of his hits, but who cares? It rocks and arguably could be the most Eighties song ever. It’s right in the title!
See you at the Star Bar on Thursday!

Ahh, is there anything as good as Love? What about loving lovers who love Love? And scented candles. Mmm.
I’m here to tell you today that gluing works. Gluing? Gluey Louie? It’s when you cover a vinyl record with wood glue, wait 5 hours, and peel it off, removing dirt from deep within the grooves. Here, let me show you.
It worked on this record. It sounds a lot clearer, even thought it’s a face melter. To think this band recorded this and “Alone Again Or” in the same year! Wes Anderson used this song in “Bottle Rocket” as well.

I love songs you can laugh with. This one is Greg, Henry, and all their friends talking about the best TV shows of 1980. They all sound out of their minds, but, as usual, they were on to something. Have you ever seen the video?
Greg Ginn used those clear Dan Armstrong plexi glass guitars. It’s one of my favorite guitar sounds! I used to have “Wasted…Again” on cassette.
